The “Consorzio Nazionale Interuniversitario per la Nanoelettronica” (IUNET, Italian Universities Nano-Electronics Team), is a non-profit, private organization created with the initial aim to lead and coordinate the efforts of the major Italian university teams in the field of silicon-based nanoelectronic device modeling and characterization. After this initial phase, several other groups have joined IUNET, bringing competences in IC design, power systems, and signal processing. The current members of IUNET are the Universities of Bologna, Calabria, Ferrara, Modena e Reggio Emilia, Padova, Pisa, Roma “La Sapienza”, Udine, Perugia, the Politecnico of Milano and the Politecnico di Torino.
